My name is Chris, and I am a foodaholic.

There, I said it. Quite simply, I love food, and always have. Thus, the reason I have always had a weight problem. I, like many of you, have tried every diet out there, joined Weight Watchers many times...but never had any success.

Then a couple of years ago, that little voice in my head said..."Wake up! You are killing yourself here! You are missing out on so much of your life!! It's time to do something about it!!!" Well, I am happy to say, I listened! I told my friend, who was in the same boat as I, that I was joining Weight Watchers, and this time, I was going to succeed. I needed her to do it with me. She is my rock. She hesitantly agreed. She was afraid of failing. She said she just couldn't take it if she tried and failed again. I said, we aren't going to fail this time. This has pushed us to where we are today.

I started September 11, 2006. I went to my first WW meeting, and I was determined to follow the program to a "T". It turned out, it wasn't that hard, and I never felt deprived of anything. I kept track of my points, exercised 5 days a week, and had a positive attitude. I was going to do it this time. I was slowly losing weight and feeling so much better.

At my best, I had lost 90lbs. My first goal was to lose 100lbs. I was so close, but then, I kind of fell off the wagon and gained about 20lbs. I am working now to get that off, plus another 20 or 30. I think I had just become comfortable where I was at. Now, I just want to get to my goal, and I am going to get there.

I have started the Couch to 5K program, and so far I love it. I also do strength training 2-3 times a week, and cardio on the days I don't run. I really love exercising. It is MY time. I am not doing it for anyone but myself. I love that feeling.

Being a wife and mom, and working a full time job, it is hard to find time for me. I finally realized, that I am important too, and my family was just going to have to understand that, and they do. They totally support me, which is wonderful.

My goals from here on out:

1. Stay on program, and track my points every day!
2. Continue to exercise at least 5 days a week.
3. Run a 5K this summer.
4. Get to my goal by 2010! (That's 50lbs to lose!)

My Goals:
My goal is to lose 100 lbs. I want to live a healty and active lifestyle.

My Program:
I just started Weight Watchers and am going to work on mental self while I am losing weight...they go hand-in-hand.

Personal Information:
I am a wife and mom, and live in Green Bay, WI. I enjoy doing things with my family and friends, camping, photography, and scrapbooking.

    Hi Chris...did you survive the Holidays? I must admit, I was totally off track, but 2010 is a New Year. Joined a group at work to be "heart healthy". Hopefully will exercise and lose weight in the process...we weigh in weekly and there is a "pot" for the team who loses the most in % of weight lost. My hubby works there too and is my team mate. Wish me luck and let me know how things are with you? Any scrapbooking lately??
