Hi, thanks for visiting my blog. After reading your info, here are a few tricks that have worked for me--2 bite rule, with kids it is a numbers game. So we have the 2 bite rule, the first one is to cleanse your pallet, the second is to truly taste the food, then if you truly don't like it you don't have to eat it. It is amazing how many food they suddenly like=)
On the eating I looked at my calorie range, went to the middle which is 1500, and broke it down in 4 ways, I happen to REALLY need an afternoon snack, so mine goes like this, 400/400/300/400. It makes it much easier to plan, because I have an idea of what calories I need to be within. But once a week I give myself an 1800 calorie day, normally Saturday or Sunday, because I want to focus on the family, so that day looks more like this 400/500/300/600. Welcome to the site. At my highest I was just pounds away from 250, so I can definitely relate. My time was devoted to my family and my job, and I didn't focus on myself enough. I lost over 50 on my own before I found SP, and have lost over 20 since being here. I feel so much better now, though I still need to lose more. Good luck to you.
