I love the quilt of the grain elevator. Where do you live? Reminds me of Colorado where my dad lives. Have a fun day quilting. I I am finishing a quilt for a co-worker who has ovarian cancer.

Hi! You asked about whether I got 10K steps in 80 minutes. I did. I get about 2500 steps per mile and I walk a mile in about 20 minutes at a fairly comfortable clip. Both my walking buddy and I got over 10K steps during the 80 minutes, so I'm pretty confident in the accuracy in the measure. I recommend wearing a pedometer all the time. It helps give you an idea of your overall activity level. Pedometers are awesome!

Thanks for checking out my BLOG. I tend to just keep adding to my cakes and over do. I really need some one to help me tone things down.

Thanks for your comment on my quilt. I think the templates we used were the same as you use for Drunkards path. It was from a curved piecing class that also used graduated color strips like you use for Bargello quilts. Lot's of experiment with color and design as well as technique. I used EQ6 to help me with the border design and played alot on a design wall to try to balance the colors. It was such fun!

No, it wasn't a quilt-as-you-go, it was a JoAnn's quilt project. I'd like to learn quilt-as-you-go some time, though.
