thats why I am finally looking up and not doubting myself. Not doubting the fact that I can cut out all the fast food and junk that I allow myself to eat and start living a healthier lifestyle. I know that my weight is an issue! I've hit the 200lb. mark for the second time and it has once again brought me to tears. Two years ago at this very same time I was looking at the number 201 on the scales. I got back onto SparkPeople for the 3rd time & faithfully went to the hospitals AMAZING wellness center... I even joined a weight loss challenge there. I was on SparkPeople and going to the gym for at least an hour every day and I dropped 20 lbs. at the beginning of 2011. I was so proud of myself, til March came. My birthday was March 4th, and my grandfather landed in the hospital shortly after that. He ended up having brain surgery on St. Patrick's Day 2011, which revealed a stage 4 glioblastoma - the most aggressive type of brain cancer... I was devastated... I forgot about living healthy and just let it all go again *UPDATE: As of MARCH 17th 2012, Grandaddy is a 1 year cancer survivor & going strong!! The Dr. at DUKE said she’d never be able to tell anything was ever wrong with him, if not for the scar tissue from the surgery. UPDATE #2: Sadly the cancer came back in August 2012 & Grandaddy went to be with the Lord on 10.13.12* After that it was just a chain reaction of things that drove me into the ground it seemed like, including being diagnosed with Degenerative Disc Disease in my L4-5 at the age of 23. I FAILED miserably over the summer, but managed to only gain back 4 lbs. which I can't complain about. But I realized my lifestyle was for sure headed in the wrong direction when both my boyfriend at the time and I noticed that I could out eat him like it was my job. He is a big guy, so this was very alarming once I realized what was happening. I vowed to adjust my sails BEFORE the new year got here... but failed miserably once again with the holidays!! I battled crazily with ups & downs during 2012 and officially felt defeated in September 2012. Now that the holidays are finally over, I've hit 200 pounds and I am ready to kick this weight issue in the butt!!! So.. with 2013 only 2 days away, here goes.. again!!! Feel free to add me as a friend and give me any tips/help/support/advice.... I can use all the help I can get. *Fingers crossed that with motivation, God, and some awesome willpower, I will stick to this and finally become a healthier me!*

My Goals:
2. I ultimately want to get down to 165ish pounds & maintain that weight.
3. I want to avoid hearing the Dr. some day tell me that I have Type 2 Diabetes.
4. Fit comfortably into my clothes and eventually fit into a size 10 jeans.
5. Coaching myself to be more aware of my portion sizes & just over all healthy eating habits.
6. Getting back to the point where I enjoy exercise, which could be a problem with my back issues, but I shall overcome them!!!
7. Love myself for me.
8. Be able to wear a cute V.S. bra :)

My Program:
- Track ALL food.
- 55-60 minutes of exercise everyday.
- Eliminate soda pop... (Soda pop free since 12.31.12)
-Consume only water, at least 120oz. per day! (5 full servings from my UT Vols Tervis cup!)

Personal Information:
I'm Cori, 24 years old and I'm from Harrisonburg, Virginia. Attended college in Tennessee & boy do I miss it everyday! However it's probably a good thing I'm away from all that Sweet Tea! I'm ready to get HEALTHY :)
