This is not my first time at losing weight. I've done it many times...keeping it off has been the challenge. If I don't make the changes now that are necessary to be more healthier, when will I ever do it? I'm not getting any healthier doing what I'm doing. It finally dawned on me that it's become a "job" of sorts and it's been stressful--food is not suppose to be controlling our lives. It's suppose to just "be" a part of our life, in a positive way--I don't want to think so hard about what I am missing out on--I just need food to nourish me--that's it! It's not a diet--it's a lifestyle..so true. I posted photos that remind me of other positive things in my life that balance me and take the food out of the equation. For health reasons, I need to make a change for the last time before there are worse health consequences and it's really up to me to do it...for the last time. This is my ultimate journey and my most important goal right now...focus on getting myself healthy and living a healthier lifestyle! One day at a time...

Fitness Minutes: 20,691

My Goals:
Exercise every day in some form for 30 minutes or more. Drink 8 glasses of water. Stop eating after 8 p.m. Journal something everyday and log all foods eaten. Read something that motivates me every day. Touch base with someone about anything in someway.


My Program:
Scheduling time in my calendar to do some form of exercise; Start my day with 15-30 minutes for me. Eating no processed foods and writing everything down.

Favorite movie is "It's a Wonderful Life" and my mantra is "if not now, when?" Life is too short for us to waste on allowing food to be the focal point in our life--so much more of life to enjoy!

    Hi Cindy ... thank you for the support (comments you left a few days ago). I have added you as a friend. Although I'm trying to follow a diabetic diet, I am not diabetic. I was told I am prediabetic ... so I lost 50 pounds. I'm not completely away from the prediabetic diagnosis ... I'm just barely "under"... so if I can lose another 25 pounds I should be in much better shape. Wishing the best for you on your journey ... Nancy
