Losing It!


Or rather, I really REALLY NEEDED to lose it.

At 4'11 inches, 181 lbs was a ridiculous weight for me! The picture with my two kids was taken in April 2008. In June 2009, I started over with WL, and have lost down to 131 lbs by July 2010. Still a little more to go; new goal is to get back under 124 for a healthy BMI!

My Goals:
Lost 25 lbs by November 2009

Lose 30 lbs more by April 2010

Lose 75 lbs total so I return to a healthy BMI

My Program:
 *Drink 8-12 cups of water daily

*Eat more fresh foods

*Write down ALL food I eat

*Get cardio exercise at least 5 times a week

*Take my vitamin supplements daily

    Hi Amy!
    Been out of town most of the week, and just wanted to check in and see how packing is going. We have a medical team coming in on Saturday so I will be away for another week after that. Hope all is going well with you, and that moving prep isn't getting too overwhelming! I send my son off on a plane in 2 days to move back to the states for college - that's a little overwhelming for me. Between that and prep for the team, I'm not eating well at all, but at least I'm not gaining! I've never been good at staying focused on good eating habits in stressful or busy situations. What about you?

    hi Amy,

    I know packing can be so overwhelming. Glad it is coming along well. Hope you gettng enough rest, if not you will be more emotional. I know it is easy to work day and night with such a big task ahead of you.
    I looked at the website about your work in China. It sounds like the language barrier is really a struggle. It has been for us as well, as many of the people here don't even speak Spanish - they speak one of 155 indigenous dialects! I know you will miss the people you have worked with for so long. We still miss the people we worked with in Africa.
