Hi I'm Christi formerly cici510 here on SP! When I first started on SparkPeople back in 2008 I was 175lbs (my largest at the time) and with the help of SP I was able to lose over 60lbs! I got married and immediately started having health issues and have since gained back all I lost PLUS and am now at my highest weight of 250lbs. I'm so discouraged! I’m in my late 30's and I'm learning just how hard it is to lose weight especially after having a full hysterectomy and being in medically-induced menopause! Why did I start a new profile? I look at my "skinny" pictures on my old account and its actually discouraging to me. I want to learn to love who I am right now, not dwell on the past, and start a new journey! It's only by the grace and love of my Lord, Jesus Christ that I am here and I'm so excited to be on this journey again and this time the weight is going to stay off for good!

My Goals:
Right now my goal is to create goals! LOL I'm working on making my main goal (to lose 65lbs by April 2016) into small, attainable goals.

My Program:
Beachbody's 21 Day Fix and walking are where I will be starting my new fit journey.

Personal Information:
I'm a Texan and proud of it! Born and raised in North Texas and cannot imagine living anywhere else. I'm a wife to the most amazing man and have two boys who are my everything. My faith is the most important thing in my life and God is who I give all the glory to. Without His love for me I wouldn't be where I am today.

Other Information:
If you would like to read about my first weight loss journey you can search for "cici510" and you'll find me. :)

hey Christi! Just dropped by to see how you were doing. Hope things on the SP front is still going strong. Work & life kinda pulled me away for a bit; but I'm winding down to vacation holiday time, so I'm back at it. How's the step goal going?

Yes. I would love to do step counting with you. I have a desk job too, so I've been taking the stairs, & trying to walking to the farthest restroom, etc.

You could do 5000 steps, if that's what your comfortable with. emoticon

Here is link to on of the articles, that inspired me to take one more step in the right direction.

what a small world, with the daisy thing. I'm glad to have spark friend, so I'm glad we got connected.

Bummer that you had a difficult week. It's always jarring getting into something new. We're not just on a diet, we are actively changing our lifestyle. It can get rough. We just need to take a second, take a deep breath, & stay keep moving ahead.

I'm using the meal planning mode; so it's kinda easier to track; because they already did it for me. My "growing pain" are dealing with meal prep & trying to get as much prepared, so I'm not constantly cooking. The kitchen has been a wreck. emoticon .

I'm looking at the small picture in terms of fitness. Like focusing on upping my step counter, going from like 1000 steps a day, to right now averaging 6000 steps.
Working on a walking plan to work toward a jogging plan...etc.
