2017 Update - I have been holing my weight around the same level for years, some months a little better than others. I was diagnosed with RA a few years ago and that along with my weight keeps me from enjoying life to the fullest! I can't get down on the floor without a lot of effort, cant sit "criss-cross applesauce" as kids say. My flexibility has totally left is time for change!!

I am trying to incorporate more fruits & veggies, actually getting to the point where most meats are not appealing anymore. However, I am not to the point where I want to be full in vegetarian. All the research I have read lately, the cleaner the food the better, so I am slowly moving in that direction!

2016 update! Now 50! Daughter 17 and a senior in high school! Both an exciting time (to see her become an adult and make decisions about her future) and a heartbreaking time (she is my life! I can't imagine not seeing her everyday!!) My scale at home is broke, so I just recently weighed and I am at my highest point ever (by 5 #). So I am ready for change!!

Hi! I'm finally ready!! I have been struggling with my weight since my early 20's, now in my early 40's and at my heaviest yet I am ready!!

My 11 yo is a motivation, I want to be active with her!

My daughter is now 13! LOL I still want to be active with her! Slowly but surely things are coming together! 2011 was a bummer as far as weight loss, on to 2012 for BIG changes!!

My 1st goal was to just start! I have been a member of spark for MANY months but just started November 3rd! So goal 1 checked!

I lost 10 pounds!

I lost 20 pounds!

I lost 30 pounds!

My Program:
Trying to eat right - some days I do, some days I don't but my don't days are so much better than they used to be!!
I am a recovering couch potato that LOVES wii active!

Personal Information:
I am from the south and cook southern style (fried everything), so I am trying to relearn!
