My motto is: "Be the change you wish to see in the world" Gandhi.
There is so much wonderful in this world I want to keep working until all of it is beautiful and wonderful.

First, I must continue to work on myself. Getting healthy, Getting Greener in all actions and being Positive in all areas. All this to be an inspiration to others around me and make everywhere in this world a wonderful and healthy place in which to be.

I am 59 and emotionally I totter between feeling like I am in my twenty's with so much I want to accomplish and do to '60s with all the decisions of growing older brings.
Physically I look younger most people think I am 10 years younger.I attribute this to being a little plump- my wrinkles don't show as bad and never had the stress of a marriage. I do however do not physically feel like I am in my 50's either- the best of it all.

I am blessed I have a wonderful daughter and granddaughter and grandson. I have a fantastic Aunt. all of which I stay in contact with and see on a regular basis.

No processed foods
Limited white food (except for veggies)

If I want something I have it- but only 1-2 bites... getting better with this.

I live in South Bend, Indiana and work at Notre Dame University. I work at the South Dining hall which has many temptations everyday but also numerous healthy options.
I just finished with my Bachelors Degree in General Studies and a Minor in Sustainability from Indiana University at South Bend! Walking May 7th 2013
I also have an Associates Degree in Business Administration & Management and in Computer programming.

I have one daughter, Penelope.

    I just wanted to reply to your comments on my loose skin blog. I didn't do much toning as I lost weight, I probably should have. I have often wondered why my upper arms are so bad...but I DO know my upper arms were very heavy. People carry weight differently. I didn't have a huge belly (oh it was plenty big, at 328 lbs., even my ear lobes were fat!), but I did have huge arms and legs. so that's where most of my loose skin is. AND...I also think my age has quite a bit to do with my skin NOT tightening up as the pounds came off. I was morbidly obese for over 30 years, I really stretched that skin out, and it's NOT going to snap back anytime soon. But it's okay I can cover it up and still feel good about myself.
