I am now a retired art teacher. I have gone forward and backward in my weight loss journey, but I have not given up. I want to take control of my health so I can enjoy my latter years to the fullest. I have put myself to the side for way too long.

My Goals:
Lose 30 more pounds and then evaluate if I need to lose any more. (I have already lost 54 lbs. since I woke up at my highest weight of 234 lbs.)
Get BMI in normal range
Tone up with exercise
My Program:
Track food and stay within calorie range
Exercise 30 minutes a day minimum. Add strength training three times a week.
Track with pedometer and do a minimum of 14,000 steps a day.
Drink a minimum of 8 glasses of water a day

VOCATION: Retired High School Art Teacher

FAMILY: Husband, three grown daughters, eleven grandchildren (two in heaven and nine on earth). Another granddaughter on the way, due in December 2020
