Well, hello there!

I'm here to improve my health and well-being through weight loss and other positive changes. I am 50 and I must make a change. I have 160+ pounds to go. Fitness-wise I am interested in walking, yoga, weights and maybe tai chi.

I'm not afraid to laugh at myself and I strive every day to make at least one person laugh or smile. I try to look for the good in situations and work to keep a positive attitude. I make it a point to spend time with people who bring me joy and support me.

Finding peace within provides much of my basis for life choices. I make a great effort to be present in this moment. I believe in the power of prayer and meditation.

Interests:
Antiquing, thrift stores, yard sales, the Great Depression, cross-stitch, planners, snail mail, scrap booking, nature, country life, homesteading, Irish things, older people, oral history, baking, organic gardening, Impressionist art and saving money.

Personal Information:
In 2005 I was diagnosed with relapsing-remitting MS. It has made for a wild ride sometimes. I have learned not to take things in life for granted! I also deal with severe fatigue, fibromyalgia, diabetes, PTSD and depression.
