Hello and welcome to my page! If you couldn't guess, my name is Cathy. We sold our home in Colorado and bought 13 acres of forested land on the edge of the Mark Twain National Forest here in southern Missouri. We don't have any children other than our cockatiels that we call our feathered puppies. :-))

August 2017 - We moved back to Colorado!! So happy to be back in my home state and to be near family again.

My husband and I make video games for a living from our home. We work well together and love that we get along so well.

Life has dealt me plenty of punches starting with my first surgery at the age of 5. At 9 I had a brain tumor removed that damaged my right optic nerve and destroyed my pituitary gland. As a result I'm legally blind in my right eye and have to take medicines for the rest of my life to make my body function normally. I've had multiple surgeries and broken bones over the years since then but I will not let anything stop me from becoming a better me physically and mentally.

I am doing walking, hiking, yoga, tai chi, ST and whatever else I can or want to do or think of doing for exercise.

Personal Information:
My husband and I make and sell video games for the PC and XBox.

Other Information:
I love to read. I love to read anything that isn't predictable. My favorite author is Stieg Larsson. I like some Dean Koontz novels. SciFi is probably my favorite genre of books to read though.

Today i am going to check out my DVDs and let you know. I haven't had a chance or inclination because of being so sore from working out.

    The ones I got are:

Ashtanga Yoga: The Primary Series by Richard Freeman

Presence Through Movement: Yin Yoga by Kim Eng

Kum Nye - Healing the Four Energy Centers by Dharma Publishing

The first one is the challenging one, will let you know just how much, and may be the one you are interested in. I did a lot of reading and research and that seemed to be the best for a good workout.

The second, "yin yoga" is more meditative and restorative. In yin yoga, you get into a pose and hold it for quite a while. Just as important as the challenging stuff but in a fierent way.

The last one I got, Kum Nye, is because I am too lazy to read the 2" thick book I was given on Kum Nye and want to "see" what the movements are, lol.

    So, experiential report to follow...
