Hello and welcome to my page! If you couldn't guess, my name is Cathy. We sold our home in Colorado and bought 13 acres of forested land on the edge of the Mark Twain National Forest here in southern Missouri. We don't have any children other than our cockatiels that we call our feathered puppies. :-))

August 2017 - We moved back to Colorado!! So happy to be back in my home state and to be near family again.

My husband and I make video games for a living from our home. We work well together and love that we get along so well.

Life has dealt me plenty of punches starting with my first surgery at the age of 5. At 9 I had a brain tumor removed that damaged my right optic nerve and destroyed my pituitary gland. As a result I'm legally blind in my right eye and have to take medicines for the rest of my life to make my body function normally. I've had multiple surgeries and broken bones over the years since then but I will not let anything stop me from becoming a better me physically and mentally.

What a wonderful friend you are!!! Thanks for the info especially on Jaime Oliver. I've seen him on TV a few times and I love his energy and attitude. I have bounced back from the brim of destruction and am back on the healthy path, more or less. The biking really helps and I have been able to get in some good rides. Stopped eating so much sodium too. That took care of about 3 pounds.

I will check into both the melatonin and the book. it's time for a shake-up over here. It's been cold and we have had our first freezing night. Not a hard freeze but who cares, it's cold! Will have to revamp my exercise routine for more inside adventure.

Have a great Sunday and keep being that beautiful angel that you are:)

Ohhhh dear is so frustrating when you feel like YOU know more about some things going on in your body that the doctor does. I hope that your new doc is more receptive to what you have to tell her, and that the two of you can form a great cooperative relationship for the good of your health. Just be persistent okay, okay? emoticon emoticon

That's amazing that your husband petted a wild fox once! They are so pretty when they are healthy and their coats are really full.
