Hey Paul.....sorry I missed your message.....
Merry Christmas.....ours was fairly quiet too....
We have a baby due in the next couple of weeks however I will fly with DD, SIL, and small person to Auckland on Monday to starship for the delivery.....not sure when that will be.....They seem to think something is wrong with baby's heart.....I don't think there is anything wrong with baby....lol....but am going with them to look after small person....

A very happy new year to you and enjoy your travelling in your van......Melbourne sadly is not on the horizon for a bit for you.....
And of course I know you will fully enjoy your bowls....
Looking forward to catching up in 2021...
    Blessings...

Merry Christmas Lyn. I have been away to the North Island again for a bowls tournament in Palmerston North followed by 2 weeks catching up with friends and relations. It was very relaxing using the camper. Got through Wellington on the day of the Plimmerton flooding. Certainly had some heavy rain over about 3 days. I was pleased to get back to the South Island again, Since then I have been busy with bowls at least 4 days each week, so the 2 week break over the festive season will be welcome. it will be a quiet Christmas with family then to Central Otago for a few days over the New Year period (of course there will be bowls in Roxburgh!). I wish you and your family an enjoyable festive season and we all look forward to a better 2021.

Hi Lyn. I just returned from a tour in my campervan over the past 4 weeks catching up with friends and relatives in both the North and South Islands. I called in to my brother in Ravensbourne last night and his very steep entrance caused some superficial damage underneath the camper which required some temporary repairs in the pouring rain. Rather than stay overnight I decided on a cuppa and back to Invercargill. So no chance to meet up this time unfortunately. Had a great trip up the west coasts as far as Thames, the back down the east. Kaikoura was a real drag with all the road works that still continue after such a long time span since the earthquake. No more health problems since the stent was installed over Easter so probably dodged a bullet there - thank you Lord!
