It Starts Here and Now -- A New Me


I am a dog lover -- I have a cocker spanial named Cocoa that is dark brown and blind. I have no children except Cocoa. I also have my nephew's dog Marley with me. Sorry no picture of Cocoa on computer yet.

My Goals:
My goals are to get healthy in my old age. I know that it will not be easy but I will get it done.

My Program:
 My program is to take one step at a time and not be in a hurry and try to follow Weight Watchers Program.


Personal Information:
I am 54 years old and single. I am the caregiver for my 92 year old dad. My mother has been gone for 22 years and I lost my brother 2 1/2 years ago. My 22 year old nephew lives with me.

Other Information:
 I love reading and watching my tomato plant grow. First time growing any vegetables.

    Stopping by to say hi. Hope all is well. I am restricted -no outdoor activity ( per Dr ) until humidity breaks,asthma really acting up the last couple of weeks. Otherwise, I'm still smiling ! I can still do strength training & will watch what I eat. Health comes first !!

    Hi. You asked how I keep going...

    It's easy...what other choice do I have? I used to weigh 160. Before I got sick, I was 180.

    I remember when I was where you are, at 100 lbs to go, and thought "How am I going to do this?"

    I tried for a little and gave up. I tried something else and then gave that up, too.

    And here we are.

    If I don't do something, I'll just keep gaining weight and then I'll die from complications from obesity.

    Trust me, I know what it's like to have a lot going on. My mom just died in December without warning.

    We are always gong to have challenges in our lives. Some of them will be harder than others.

    You have to make the choice that you are worth the effort.

    I wish you success and if you want to talk, I am here.
