Hi I'm Allison! I am a college student in my second year. School keeps me pretty busy with homework and activiteis. I also babysit a couple times a week. I have done Weight Watchers twice. The first time I was super motivated and lost about seven pounds before I came to school. During the year though I gained bakc much more than I lost, so I did WW again the next summer. I wasn't motivated though and actually gained weight. :( I have also been on SparkPeople before but again I wasn't motivated to lose weight.

This time though I'm ready to put my whole heart into it and really try to figure this out. I want to be proud of myself. I want to be fit. I want to be healthy. I want so much more for myself.

"Everyone is like a butterfly. They start off ugly and awkward and then morph into something beautiful and graceful."

After reading a fellow sparkers goals I was inspired to write down my own.

1. Be able to wear whatever I want without worrying about my fat pouring out or cottage cheese showing through. I want to be able to wear tank tops and shorts in the summer. I don't even remember the last time I wore shorts that didn't go to my knees when I was around other people. I want to be excited about shopping and not dread going when friends ask.

2. I want to get a hot boyfriend with a ripped body. Most of the time in order to get these men you also have to be hot and have a ripped body.

3. I want to be able to run for at least a half hour straight. Heck, right now I would just love to be able to walk up the stairs and not get winded while talking to friends.

4. I want to be the skinny girl in the family.

5. Be in the healthy weight range for my height.

6. I want to love eating fruits and vegetables and not feel like it's a challenge to get five serving in each day.

7. I don't want to be worried about whether I have clothes that fit for nice occasions or work.

8. I want my wardrobe to consist more of cute pants, jeans, and tops than of sweatpants and t-shirts.

9. Mostly I want to stop feeling disappointed in myself for gaining more weight.

10. I want to feel proud that I'm losing weight and taking control of my life and being awesome!

Writing those goals down was one of the best things I have done for myself! Whenever I feel gross or lazy I just go back and read those babies and I feel awesome and motivated again, and I read them so often that they're constantly in my head, so I'm always thinking of new ones. At first I had the basics just written down like, "lose weight," but then I started thinking about all the simple reasons why losing the weight would make me happy. Thanks for the comment! Good luck with all your own goals!
