Hi. I have been blessed to be naturally thin for most of my life. when i got pregnant I did not think that would change and I overate and underworked! Goodbye to natural, easy thinness! For the past 3 years I have been working, off and on, depending on motivation levels, to lose all these extra pounds. Before my wedding last year I lost 30! It was great and I am proud of it, but it's time to buckle down and lose the rest already!!

Fitness Minutes: 1,215

My Goals:
I want to get into the best shape of my life in 2009 and keep it that way forever!
To do that I want to lose 33 more pounds.
I need to learn to love veggies more!


My Program:
i'm going to combine my goals. i really want to get up early so i'm going to get up and do ellipticle for 30 minutes every weekday. and do jillian's 30 day shred at least 4 days per week. i also want to try the swimsuit bootcamp workouts. wish me luck! the waking up seems to be the hardest part :)



Personal Information:
I am wife and a mother of a 3 year old. I enjoy tennis and swimming, which is a bit unfortunate because the season for those is awefully short here in montana. But this past summer my son and I took every chance we could to swim and soak up some sun! This year I have taken up knitting and crocheting on top of everything else to make sure that on down time, like sitting down time in the house when it's 20 below outside, I have no free hands to grab for food. :) I have found it is also a wonderful stress reliever.

    Yeah, I know.... we get to start the challenge, Day 2... yay! Normally exercise is one of the tough things for me to do.... but for some reason I've got a lot of motivation to give it my all for this challenge! Looks like I'll be doing the challenge they give us and the 30 minutes of cardio, plus a couple of at home fitness videos, crunches & strength training w/ weights....... gotta burn off that booty, ya know, lol! Well, so far so good for the both of us...... that's GREAT!! Here's to a great tomorrow, too...... WE CAN DO IT!!!!!!

    Hi Britter3,

    Thank you for adding me as your friend. When I am stress, I usually for a walk with my boys. Taking my boys outside is the best option to avoid eating under stress. I also sometimes eat a little snack which some tea under stress. I also call a friend to talk about my stress which has help me avoid stress eating as well. Lately, I been gaining weight because, I stop tracking my food. In order for me to stay on track I need to track everything that I eat. I am not sure, if you track your food, but this has helped me lose my weight because I make better choices when I know that I am going to be in my log. I also exercise 5 days a week which has help me drop about 1 to 2 pounds a week. Thanks for the tip for Jillian's 30-day shred, I did buy the DVD for my husband but I going to try it this month to see what happens. I have a question when doing the DVD do you also work in cardio or simply the DVD only? My husband tried the dvd twice and he said it was hard. Well I will talk to you later!

    Hi I saw your post on 20 something SAHMs. I am no longer a stay at home Mom but a Mom non the less. I live in BC Canada with my fiancé and two children, 9 year old daughter and 6 year old son. I lost all my weight plus some after my son was born but then we moved out of province and I gained it all plus some back! I started out at 168 lost 4 lbs moved and gained it plus some to 171. So far I have lost 8 lbs and want to loose about 30 more lbs. Seems we want to loose about the same amount of weight. Hope you are doing well and look forward to hearing from you soon!
