Hi, okay, let's get the demographic stuff out of the way: I'm a 45 year old caucasian, single, man, no kids. I am a Social Worker with a Masters Degree. I currently live in Renton.

I was a marathon runner for 25 years and then stopped due to injury. Within 1 year, I had gained 110 pounds. That was 5 years ago. I'm too embarrassed to date, so I thought it was time to lose this embarrassing weight. who has somehow allowed my body to "expand" well beyond normal limits.

FYI--I'm not looking to date, but it would be nice to meet a nice gal to work-out with. It would be to have some motivation. I will put up a current picture soon.

Fitness Minutes: 75

My Goals:
I'm going to lose at least 100 pounds by next June, 2011. In the fall of next year, I'd like to run a marathon. But mostly, I just am tired of not being able to tie my shoes cause my belly gets in the way. It's embarrassing and I'm tired of it.

My Program:
I'm going to eat fruits and veggies and whole grains. I'm also going to watch my calories carefully and I'm going to walk/run daily. I know--everybody says that. But I actually mean it. I'm doing it right now in fact.

Personal Information:
I was born and raised in Seattle. I currently live in Renton alone with my 2 cute kittens. I am a licensed Social Worker with a Masters degree. I had been a runner for 20 years before I fell off the wagon (those excuses can sure pile up when you don't want to run.) I've never been married and I don't have any kids. I like skiing, hiking, photography, travel, meeting new people, exploring the great northwest.

Other Information:
Currently reading "Don't Sleep, There are Snakes." Great book.
