Fitness Minutes: 4,273

My Goals:
1) permanently lose 58 unnecessary lbs.
2) To walk/jog a 12k with my family in May 2020
3) To complete the Fall 2019 5% Challenge on SP

My Program:
Committed to completing the Fall 2019 5% Challenge! To do this, I will:
1) Continue exercising at least 20 min a day. This will include training to walk/jog a 12k in May 2020.
2) Make healthy food choices, limiting my carbs and controlling my portion sizes
3) Log those food choices in SP
4) Drink at least 64 oz of water daily, because I know this not only helps me feel more energetic but also does great things for my body!
5) Blog once a week with updates on my progress, and also journal privately each morning
6) Weigh in daily and record it once a week to hold myself accountable
7) To take care of my feet (I have plantar fasciitis), I will take it slow and do some weeks of the training plan over again if I have to, and/or cross train on a my stationary bike.
8) I’m committing to strength training M & F
9) Yoga on Wed.
10) To help with my plantar fasciitis, I will set a reminder to use the foam roller on my lower calves. It really helps release t

38 years old, married to a husband I adore, with 3 beautiful kids. Building a healthy, energetic life that I love!!
I enjoy hiking, yoga, reading, crochet, and movies.

Other Information:
10 reasons I want to lose weight:

1) I want to be energetic enough to keep up with my family. I don’t want to be left out of the fun anymore because I just physically can’t do something.
2) I want to feel good in my own skin
3) I want to show my girls that personal responsibility for your own health is important
4) I want to be more confident...this is something I’m working on all the time, no matter my body size, but the act of achieving my weight loss goal would be a huge boost
5) I want my chronic pain issues to go away (feet, knees, lower back) and all these things will improve with less weight to carry
6) I want to avoid diabetes
7-10 because it’s a biggie for me) I want to get to a point where worrying about my weight is unnecessary. I can’t imagine a life where this issue is not a problem emotionally weighing me down.
