That is awesome. I lost 4lbs last week so that made up for only losing 1 lb the week before lol. Are u only on liquids or can u have soft solids?

Hey thanks forreaching out to me. I am actually doing pretty well. I had to have all mt teeth removed the end of Jan & Feb the 1st... so that has cut out a lot of foods I can actually eat.I have lost 7lbs since last mid Jan. That feels great!

I completely threw out all the junk food in my diet. I've been doing the low carb, high protein diet and staying around the 1200 calorie range. I've also been learning about benefits in healthy foods.

    Hi!

    Portion control:
I learned from a post being shared on FB that my main weight gain in specific areas isn't due to lack of exercise, but lack of portion control! We often buy apple and orange juice, and once in a while, pop. We had bought a pack of 10oz water bottles and we fill those with each thing and tell each other only one of them per day :) With pop especially.

My fiance's doctor told him to replace breakfast and lunch with a protein shake and his pre-lunch snack and pre-dinner snacks should all be 200 cal area. With the shakes and 2 snacks that's about 800 calories right there, dinner should be 500-600 calories (1300 - 1400 for the day). We need to exercise 50-60 minutes per day. It says online that healthy people only need 30 minutes but obese need 50-60 minutes of exercise, not including household chores.

I'm working on exercising for 50 minutes using an exercise app to do such on the floor or on the Ab Circle Pro ($54 bought online, really works my hips and mid back! Oi!) and now portion out the apple and orange juice.

My main issue is driving myself to exercise! I've done well today foodwise, which I just portioned food and drinks out yesterday. We DID buy chips but each serving size is about 12 chips, but 140-150 calories for the ones we get. The doctor recommends 200 calories per snack... so we put 14-16 chips in a plastic bag and can only have one snack bag of them a day beCAUSE they are an unhealthy snack :) Otherwise we have nuts, sunflower seeds, yogurt... We buy Ground Turkey instead of Beef and we buy chicken. White meat is healthier, red meat sits in your system for 3 months and is just unnecessary weight gain... unfortunately.

we still eat ribs once in a blue moon, it's a luxury ~

But that's what we're doing! Have there been any changes you've made to your food to help with the exercising?
