I joined SP in January of 2008 and had some success but then fell away and didn't returned to SP until January 25 of 2009 when I discovered I was 10 lbs. heavier then when I join in 2008. There's motivation for Since I started using SP again I've been making steady progress toward my goal. Spark People works if you work it. I lost 40 pounds at one point, but due to family and health issues fell out of my routine. So I Am beginning again. Still determined. We can only fail we stop trying and every day that we try is a win. I'm looking for support to get to a more healthy weight and lifestyle. I KNOW that SP can help me accomplish my goals and I'm worth all the effort that I will put into myself.

My Goals:
Remember not to look at this as a weight loss goal but as a lifestyle change with the outcome being more health and vitality in my life.
To not let my challenges control the quality of my life. I am in control and only I can change it!

My Program:
Do at least 20 minutes of cardio every.
Drink No soda.
Track my meals.
Drink 8 glasses of water every day.
Write in my journal or blog each day.
Utilize SP to the fullest to help me stay on track and motivated.

Personal Information:
I pledge to look at this as a lifestyle change and part of my daily routine that is just as important as eating or breathing. Any weight loss is only a bonus to the most important physical and emotional well being!

Other Information:
I love SP. It really works if you use it!

    Welcome to SparkPeople, to Challenged by Arthritis (I was diagnosed with RA when I was 7), to Fighting Fibro (me to) and to I Need Sleep (don't we all). SP has a lot of articles about chair exercises which you will hopefully be able to do. Love it that you are looking at this as a "lifestyle change" because that is exactly what it is - find something you love to do and enjoy the journey - it is sooooooo worth it! Jenna
