I know that a quitter never wins, and a winner never quits. So with this motto in mind, no matter how long it may take, I will win my race against being overweight! Yes, just like a marathon runner, when I trip and fall, I will pick myself up, dust myself off and keep going!!!! I hated every minute of training, but I said, Don't quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion." Muhammad Ali I feel just like Muhammad Ali's quote sometimes but when I get on the treadmill or the eliptical machines or even go outside and start walking, by the time 45 minutes or an hour is up, it is over with and done; and generally when I get started it's not so bad. So, when I know I should exercise and don't want to, I make myself do it because I know that I'll feel differently 15 to 20 minutes into the exercising bit. And by the time I am finished, I say, "Now that was not so bad was it? No. And as an extra added bonus I feel great, look great, and have lost weight and gained health in the end." 09/26/09 202 10/13/09 196 10/20/09 195 10/26/09 195 04/01/14 206 06/29/14 194 07/21/14 190 06/03/17 184

Personal Information:

Other Information:
I have done OneStroke painting and have just taken several watercolor paintng classes from a well known local artist. I have also taken two drawing classes. At the moment I am contemplating on doing polymer clay. So I am doing some research on the subject to find out what it involves. My favorite movies are: Jurassic Park, and The Hunt for Red October. I love watching the animal channel and Project Runway. I like classical music and Christian music. My favorite book on health & nutrition to date is: You: On A Diet by Dr. Oz. It really makes sense and is the best money I have ever spent on a book.

You did the right thing. We just all need to prayer for her healing. It was gut wrenching to go through what your family did with that little baby. Everyone tried so hard to save him and it just could not be done. The longer he lived the harder it was on his mom to lose him. Too heartbreaking.

I wish he were here too. I hate that you are alone, though you cope very well.

I have only seen pictures of your husband when he looked thin and fit. Unfortunately back in 2005 they thought that high trigs were caused by fat intake and that probably hurt your husband too. Smoking was definitely the biggest problem though. I did not realize he smoked. My father hid from me that he smoked too. He smoked off and on his whole life but I didn't know it. Nothing we could do about it, you or me.

My first MIL had a problem with soda. That was when it was served in glass bottles and once when I was at my hubby's house I commented on all the soda bottles his family drank and he said they were his mothers. Good grief - that is so shocking to me about your husband. I just assumed he was extremely healthy since he ran so much.
