One of my daughters snapped this without my knowing. I realize it's not "legal" to do this!

Hi there sweet Judy! Thanks SO much for the goodie and the message.

GASP! emoticon I haven't received ANY of your messages...at least not that I recall seeing! I'm SO very sorry about that...I certainly would have responded pronto if I had noticed them!

Yes, the consignment shop is keeping me hopping. I'm still doing one Farmer's Market down in Naples on Saturdays...thank heavens it air-conditioned! That keeps me busy staying on top of my inventory.

Some days I feel are like blurs they whiz by so quickly. I've tried to keep posting pics of the gorgeous stuff that comes into the gallery and I'm sure you know about my website www.foundobjektconsignmentgallery.com

Take note of the spelling for objekt...I wanted to put a little twist on it..but I sometimes think it might confuse people...duh..me again...being artsy...instead of practical.

We had to change our sign..which was a costly mistake...because I had too many words 'Found Objekt' A Consign & Design Gallery and no one could read it as they whiz by at 60 mph on the very busy highway in front.

So it now just says CONSIGNMENT in big bold letters and that seems to get the job done. Not cute...but effective.

We will be going back home (IA) in August for the hubs 45th high school reunion. It's not a trip I'm looking forward to. All of my friends (smart people) have moved away and I don't know anyone at his reunion...well maybe one or two from the former ones we've attended.

His mom is ailing and is insanely needy (I guess she has the right to be at age 84) but his sister has lived with her for her entire life. It's not like she hasn't been waited on hand and foot forever. She is the BEST at piling on the guilt to my hubby...I mean she will kill you with the guilt stuff.... so that's always a big downer for him and makes me sad.

Oh boy...the trials and tribulations of family huh? I don't have any...I'm an only lonely child and my mom and dad have both passed. Losing our Josh was such a blow to me...I just can't make sense of why a mother works her kids AGAINST each other instead of encouraging them to love and support each other. Now that she is older she is wanting DH to take responsibility for his 54 year old sister who is meaner than the junk yard dog...won't happen after all the years of animosity they have against each other...sadly at her doing.

Welp...didn't mean for this to turn into a book...I hope you are getting stronger and stronger. Your pics look GREAT! I'm rootin' for you sweet one!

Happy 4th of July...Sis...Boom...BA! emoticon emoticon emoticon

Awwhhhh I wish I were at your birthday party too! Pouty face! emoticon It sounds like it was SO much fun! I'm so happy your daughters got to fly here to be with you! Family is what makes celebrations FUN! I'm happy you are getting therapy...I just know it will help you. Have you read "A Stroke of Insight" by Jill Bolte Taylor P.h.D. It is a fascinating account of the stroke she had and how she fought back. Also explains SO much about our beautiful brains and how they work. Check it...I know you will benefit! Hugs my lovely friend...you are strong, you are beautiful...you will get through this and come out a winner...I just KNOW you will! emoticon
