Introduction Text I am a 30 year old mom and wife. I am married to the love of my life and have two beautiful daughters. Ever since I had those two beautiful daughters I have been in a rut. Due to medicine and a love of pizza, soda, and sweets!!!!! I can't wait to learn how to eat correctly and learn to believe in myself. I could always use the support. 5-9-09: I have been so busy. I work at a college and it is the last two weeks of school so we are crazy busy. I have let my hectic days overwhelm me. Solution, yesterday I was out with my husband and someone asked if I was losing weight. YAY! That is a huge motivation for me. I am making myself take time (AGAIN) for myself to get me healthy. Exercise and Water! Those are the key. I can do this. 7-5-09: I think it is true about every journey. You start and you are excited and motivated and about 2-3 weeks into it you either lose interest or you are not making quick enough progress so you give up or slack off. Welcome to my life. I have been doing this ever since I was in High School. I love my life. I have been depressed and it is not fun and I refuse to go back there. I do however get very discouraged when I fail. I am an all or nothing kind of person and it is very difficult, when I miss a day, to get back on track. I often just say "oh well I failed" and quit. I have learned something just recently from a friend that I have heard a thousand times but never really believed or practiced. If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try, try, try , try again. Never Give Up! It is so much easier to type this than to actually live it. So instead of focusing on a week or month at a time how about today?????? Tomorrow is new and fresh. Nothing has happened yet. You can do anything tomorrow!!! So if you mess up today there is always tomorrow. Just get up and start again. You are not a failure until you give up. I am so excited. I am writing this so I can look back and remind myself to keep getting up and starting again. A bad meal? Missed exercise? Ate an entire Pie for a bet? LOL It is ok just start again and don't give up or get discouraged.

My goals are to get healthy and have more energy. I want to reach my goal of 145 by Christmas. I am also going to do a 5k run on July 4th with my husband and church friends.

My husband and I are going to exercise every day and drink water. I am also going to get ready for a 5k run.



I enjoy cooking, reading, and spending time with my family. I sing in our church choir. I also just started taking piano lessons (a dream since 3rd grade). I am learning to love exercising. It really makes me feel good the whole day!
