I started with the SparkDiet in 2007 after having my second child and feeling dowdy and unattractive, wearing a size 12. I was trying to squeeze into my old pants that were size 8 and was extremely unhappy. In 2008, I found some success through this website, but fell off the wagon after getting a job and got lazy. I went right back up to a size 12 again. In September 2010, three people asked me when I was due to have my baby. I wasn't pregnant!! It was time to lose the weight.

That same month, I started back with the SparkDiet and have continued to this day. I began the diet at about 155-160 lbs., size 12 pants, size L in shirts. Today, I do not know my weight, but I am wearing a size 2 in pants, and a S in shirts. I have found solace in running. I feel that this is my forté, and if I continue, I will not fail.

I try to stay somewhere around 1200-1300 calories a day. I DO NOT abstain from dairy, sugar, breads, pastas. I let myself have everything I used to eat. I do avoid red meats, pork, and fried foods, but that is it. I just try to keep it under 1300 and I am okay with whatever. I even eat candy or have a light beer on occasion. Really!

I am goal-oriented, something that has come with relentless studying, endless classes, volunteer work, and thankless sales jobs. I expect for myself to be successful, therefore I WILL BE! I simply cannot fail. I think that this is why I have been FAR more successful with weight loss this go around. :)

Fitness Minutes: 12,251

My Goals:
My goals are to maintain my body at a size 2. Most of my goals are education and career related. I graduate in January 2012 with a BS in Criminal Justice. I hope to be working in the CJS field sometime this year.

My Program:
1200-1300 calories a day. 5 meals! 64 oz. of water a day.

Running as often as possible (usually 2-3 days a week) and pushing myself to new challenges (treadmill up on a 10% incline for the last few minutes of my workout).

Personal Information:
I'm a mother of 2 kids, Amy and Samuel, a student, a volunteer, a jewelry sales professional! Busy, all the time!

Other Information:
I have many hobbies, and I love to learn. I read about historical non-fiction, European dynasties, Native American cultures, and genealogy. I write stories, which are either detective-related or historical. I sing, read, and sketch. I am an avid lover of music, and will listen to almost anything.

    Hi! Thanks for the add, it's definitely cool that you're in the area! Seems to be kind of a small town in some ways, as I've already found 4 or 5 people (without actively looking!) who are in the Gresham area. :D Congrats on your weight loss up until this point... and not to be cheesy, but it's cool that I'll know you for however much more you lose!
