Well after a fabulous weekend I feel in an amazing place. Entered my first strongwoman competition and actually won. My trophy is huge and my first ever, so as you can imagine I am on cloud nine and it feels great to have had such an achievement.

I have uploaded videos so have a look :-)

I am 27 years of age and over the past few years I have put on a fair amount of bodyfat. I work out regularly and have tried numerous diets, I managed with one of them to get down to goal but then it all crept back on. This time I just want to make a concious change to my lifestyle and learn new habits for keeping healthy and lean!

Plus I love how strong I am and think that under all the fat I would actually have quite good muscle tone and I want to show off all my good work in the gym! I want to walk around with skimpy outfits on and feel amazing, lol. I would also like to celebrate my achievement by going into a fitness model competition.

I have plenty of time and so just need to get the enthusiasm going and BE POSITIVE! I have found some great inspiration from some of the fitness models out there and so just have to keep going as I CAN DO IT!

    I was 54 when I joined SparkPeople and 56 when I came back and started my Spark Program, starting with Stage One. This is a one day at a time program, but if you do the SparkPeople Program Steps, it really does work. I am terribly average, it's the SP program that is extraordinary.

    I found logging my foods in the Nutrition Tracker helped me to lose 90 lbs in 16 months! I started at 210 and went to 120.

    I hung clothing that was too small on my closet door and every time I would get discouraged I would try them on. Week by week they started fitting! That kept me motivated.

    Welcome aboard, we really are all in the same boat! Sometimes we can sail right along but sometimes we have to be rowing like crazy!

    You can make it happen! SparkPeople really does work!
