This is my dog, Sammy. He passed away on July 29, 2013. He was blind, deaf, and my heart.

Clues you ask? If you've ... Ever watched a fruit tree at the end of it season, ... You see the fruit falling to the ground and then rotting. Same thing here. No word from Spark Guy Since December 28. Not a word about anything.. People who were hired on staff in the beginning of sparks were eliminated. No word. Just gone. OLD articles and blogs from the early years..It was pretty obvious. And few joining, but Many members leaving. ... Not a good ratio. Like 1 good friend said, Sparks had been on life support for quite some time. Time to pull the plug.

First clue was Chris hasn't been around the site for a LONG time. Gradually people like Chef Meg, Coach Nicole have left and not been replaced. No new material has been added in a VERY long time. Those were my top clues.

    SP will be missed!!!!!!!!!

    Happy Friday to you!
I have discovered that none of the places we wanted to see are open, but will be shortly after we leave to come home. I am rocking the good luck.
On this trip, I specifically wanted to go back to the Botanical Gardens, Natural History Museum and the National Cathedral. But I was happy to learn the Art museums and galleries are open. And also the Black History Museum. As important as the Holocaust Museum is, I just won’t go. And lo and behold, it is one that is open.
I still need to reserve our passes and I can only hope there are openings left, at this late juncture. We may be seeing a lot of nothing.
Not the trip I had hoped for, but it is what it is. I will just be happy to be with my daughters.
I will holler at you to see your schedule next week.
    Hugs.

You're like my son Hisaki! He loves learning about bugs. His idea of a hot date is to go to the parasite museum in Tokyo. When I'm gardening, sometimes I come across a weird larva or something really alien-looking, and I'll send a photo of it to him in the middle of the day. Oh, you know what else we like? Well, lizards of course, but even more salamanders with their cute shapes and hands. I wish Matthias could see all the creepy crawlies over here and hear all the different kinds of cicadas. He might react like Hisaki, with total delight.

Have a great Wednesday! I'm off to try to sleep! Been watching true crime stories all day. Couldn't stop, even when there's a million other more productive things I need to do. Speaking of needing to do more productive things, have you checked out Word Wipe on WaPo? That is so addictive. My score is only a small fraction of the top players, but I love seeing my username in the top fifty! Those people who get scores in the hundreds of thousands--I just can't fathom how they do that. No need to answer, my dear. Just procrastinating about going to bed. I hope you have a great day.
