I've been on a constant battle with my weight since I was a child. I've done every diet you can imagine with little or no success or just to regain the weight. I've been struggling to lose the last 20 pounds of my pregnancy weight for the past three years and then some. I've finally found what works for me by eating clean and lifting weights.

My Goals:
-To be cut, tight and toned. I carry a lot of fat around my middle and heart disease and cancer run in my family so I want to get rid of it to be here for my boys for a long time.
- To live a healthy lifestyle and enjoy food in moderation. To eat to live, not to overindulge.
- To teach my children food is to sustain life, not our life.
- Maybe someday compete in a bikini or figure competition.


My Program:
I am a member of Cathy Savage Fitness, participating in the Lifestyle program. I've been a member for almost a year. I love the motivation, the workouts, and the "team" feeling even though I'm just living a lifestyle.

I usually train 3/4 days with weights depending on my program.
I do 4-5 days of steady state/HIIT cardio.

I eat a diet that is clean and minimal in processed foods. I allow myself one cheat meal a week or try to stay at least 80% clean each week.



Personal Information:
I was born and raised in South Philadelphia. I currently live in the suburbs of Philadelphia with my husband of almost 5 years, Mike, and our three year old twin sons, Michael and Nicholas.

I'm a self employed behavioral specialist/therapist working with children diagnosed with autism.

    I hear you on the water weight ~ I have edema and swell like crazy if I don't take my water pill and drink tons of water a day!

    Hi! I know exactly where you're coming from! Have had the same weight battle my entire adult life and finally hit my goal weight last summer- only to have an extra 20lbs or so come back over fall & winter. I'm a SAHM w/ a 3 yr old son. Just came back from an hour walk with him.
    Here's hoping to changing our lifestyles (no more "diets") and losing that last bbit of extra baggage!
