I'm a working mom with a great husband and a beautiful little girl. I come from an obese family on my mother's side. My father's side of the family is mostly healthy. So when we visit one side, I'm surrounded by enablers and on the other side I feel like the fat cousin with the divorced parents, out of place.

No more of those thoughts. My daughter was premature, born at 27 1/2 weeks, 2 lbs 7 oz at birth. Thankfully this had nothing to do with my weight. We were lucky, she's perfect. A typical 6 year old (challenging LOL)

How funny is it when you realize the only thing getting in your way is you. I've noticed that I have the know how. I just need to keep up the motivation and will power. I've got lots of reasons to do this right.

I love to read all kinds of books. Mostly fiction.

I also love to bake, which can be counterintuitive to my goals. Maybe it's time to bake only for bake sales.
