Introduction Text I'm 58 and live in Spearfish, South Dakota. I need to lose a LOT of weight. I've tried different diets in the past, including Weight Watchers, but none of them kept my interest long enough to lose the weight. I am determined this time, more than I have ever been. I have mobility issues. I use a cane. So I am looking for exercises that will strengthen my legs and that I can do easily in my current condition.

*Lose 75-125 pounds, starting with just 10, then another 10, etc. *Exercise more

Currently I am mostly counting calories. I also go to physical therapy twice a week, getting myself ready to go to the rec center to work out.

I grew up in SE Michigan and NW Ohio. I currently live in South Dakota, in the gorgeous Black Hills, about 50 miles from Mount Rushmore. I love it here and have no intention of every leaving. I have to admit that love TV and hanging out on my computer. I check my Facebook page numerous times during the day. I also love to crochet. I do that usually when I am in my recliner watching TV. My sons own a business and I 'volunteer' there as an executive assistant. It is a game store and my official title is "Board Game Guru" but I do the secretarial work 3 days a week, for about 4 hours a day. I am also owned by two cats. They never forget to tell me that they can see the bottom of their bowls. I don't enjoy cooking so it is hard for me to make low cal meals. I'd rather make fudge. ;)
