6/16/16- You know there's a problem when a doctor tells you your BMI is too high... There is work to do, and I aim to do it. I'm going to need help and anything SP can do help would be greatly appreciated!

Update- Once again I am trying to silence that b*tch called procrastination. I'm hoping to make a life change that will help myself and my family. I have about 15-25 pounds to lose and it doesn't seem that daunting. I know this will be no easy feat but I have the determination I always have when I start these quests... All I need to do is follow through! I can, I want to, I will do all in my power to make it happen!

Update- if there was ever a time I need to take this seriously it's NOW! I guess as long as I keep trying I will make it one day, but I really want to try and succeed. I hope this is the time. Today is 12/30/15... I am not making this a resolution for the new year, I want to make myself a better example for my kids. Skylar is now 8, Cera is 4, and Ethan will be 3 in April! I've been eating well for the past few days. Our scale is broken so I haven't weighed myself for a while- at my last doctor's appointment I was 201. YIKES!!! I will be starting a weight loss challenge at my work and the first weigh-in is 1/11/16. I wish it was sooner, as I suspect I will have shed a few lbs by then. Anyway- HERE GOES!

Update- Today is October 18, Ethan made six months old last week and my two oldest are growing like weeds. I have lost 38 pounds since I was pregnant with Ethan! My goal is to be at a healthy weight and BMI by my 30th birthday in April. I've got about 25 pounds to go!!! Seems crazy because at one point I was 50 away, YIKES!

Update- Today is June 6, a lot has changed! I am once again a new mommy!!! Ethan was born on April 10- the day before my 29th birthday! Cera is 19 days shy of turning 2, Skylar is 5 and will be starting first grade this fall. I've been wanting to come back to SP for a while now, so here I am!

Update- Today is December 29. My baby girl is now six months and 4 days old. My weight is 189, that is seven pounds less than before I got pregnant. That is almost six pounds more than the last time I weighed in. I am in serious need of help. My eating habits have become that of a grazing flock of cattle. I cannot, and do not stop eating- even when I know I am overly full. Why? I need to reclaim myself.

Update- On June 25 my beautiful daughter Cera was born! The last time I weighed prior to giving birth I was a whopping 215.6lbs. Yikes! I inched by, barely avoiding the max of what I wanted to gain. Today is July 3, I am eight days post partum and I am happy to be back at my prepregnancy weight! Hooray! So, as of now my goal to hit by the end of the year is only 20lbs away. I think this is acheivable. My primary goal for now though is to just not gain weight until I am cleared for exercise at my six week post partum check up.

UPDATE- Today (6/12/11) I am 37 weeks and 5 days pregnant. My current weight is 211. So as I near the delivery of my beautiful daughter I have only gained 15 pounds. Hooray! I just hope to stay healthy in the coming weeks, and that breast feeding is kind to my weight loss wishes. My last day of work will be 6/15/11, and I am planning to not return to work until 9/1/11. Mostly because with Regan deployed my world will be drastically changed with the birth of our second child. I'm hoping this is a good thing. I plan to go on walks with the kids, and to do small workouts when I can. When Regan gets home I plan on joining Curves- mainly because there is one close by and he can watch the kiddos while I get a 30 minute workout in without interruption a few times a week.

On this day (3/17/11) I am 25 weeks and 2 days pregnant. My prepregnancy weight was 196, at the moment I weigh 200lbs. That is such a shocker because I thought those days were over. My goal is to not pass 215 before delivery, but I think that will take some work. I really believe that if I can just be accountable again, and get in some safe workouts I will be able to end this pregnancy on a high note.

You know you never have to thank me! I love reading about what you're doing, your progress, and seeing pictures of those beautiful children you have.

Beautiful Woman Award! Once you've been given this award, you have to paste it on the wall of 8 women who deserve it. If you receive more than 3, you know you're really beautiful! If you break the chain, nothing will happen, but it's always good to know someone thinks you're beautiful inside and out.

My weigh in is suppose to be tomorrow, but since my doctor's apt pushed in back a little and I prefer to weigh on Sundays I think I will make it the 16th, this Sunday. Is that fair to wait a few extra days? I am pretty nervous, and I gotta do my measurements and stuff too.

Ok, so this might sound totally silly, but if you have not watched it yet, you MUST see Soul Surfer!!! That movie was awesome, and I kid you not incredibly inspiring. It really got me thinking about this girl who despite loosing an arm was still out there helping people who were victims of the tsunami, and if she can go through what she did and yet still keep her head up and help others, then I really have no excuse as to why I cannot just do what I need to do and then help others do the same. Lame, I know ;) But I'll take whatever inspiration I can get right now to keep me on track!!

The Leslie Sansone DVD is a great way for you to sneak in exercise whenever you can. I'm totally wiped out tonight fom the 5-mile one, but it's a good thing.
