Yeah, I'd like to lose 20 lbs, but I'm more interested in not being so tired all the time! I'm revamping my lifestyle, cutting out all processed food, caffeine and alcohol.

In place of what I'm cutting out, I'm ADDING more veggies, fruit, water, fresh air and daily activity (not just my workout time).

I have come a long way from being the fat girl in high school to the almost fit personal trainer!

Emotional eating put 25 pounds on me during the summer between 8th and 9th grade (putting me at 150). Despite all the sports I played, my highest in HS was 158, and later, after joining the army, I was at my all-time, non-pregnancy high of 162. I was kicked out of the army for that. I dropped about 15 lbs and rejoined the army, then hung out at an unhealthy 145-150 for years.

After having my first baby, I sat at 140, and maintained that after my second. I joined weight watchers and got down to 122, only to gain it all back after I quit running, quit breast-feeding, and quit tracking my food (lesson to everyone reading! track your food, lose weight!).

My third baby left me with 15 extra lbs that WOULD NOT BUDGE for the first 6 months. I joined a gym, got a trainer, and read everything I could get my hands on regarding health and fitness. When I got my friends to work out with me, I realized that I found my "calling": personal training!

I still have my areas I want to work on, and my fitness goals I want to meet, but I just keep on going! Never quit!
