Introduction Text Hi, my name is Anne! I live in the San Francisco Bay Area with my dog Izzy. This is not the place on earth where I belong - I am happier in Washington or Oregon, where I am from, but trying to find a way to be happier while I am here in California (15 years in Cali now). I have a successful second career that I am not liking very much, and the press of time passing is weighing on me - am frustrated that I didn't figure out "life" better when I was younger. But I know that the journey I have had is the journey I have learned from, and I value that a lot. And I am so much happier, fundamentally, than I have ever been before in my life - it is the details that elude me presently, e.g. a satisfying social life, work that is enjoyable to me, better physical fitness. But I continue to improve in all areas, so the direction I am traveling in is good - it is the pace that is frustrating to me!

I want to lose about 50 pounds of excess weight and get back to my original self - strong and healthy! My dog, Izzy, is my best friend as I go along on this journey.

Exercising/moving more, eating more plants & whole foods, staying positive in my outlook.

Wow - this section sure needs an update (!) Not sure what to say, but I can confirm that I have learned and grown so much, in so many ways, over these last couple of years. I have not lost all of the weight that I want to lose, yet, but have actually lost 22 pounds, slowly, and learned so much while getting rid of those 22 pounds - and am so confident in the education & tools that I have gathered along the way, that success is at my fingertips!

I am OK with how things are, I understand lots of things so much better now, I have a much clearer path now - but can't yet shake some of my impatience with myself. I still make mistakes. I have room for improvement. I will use what I have learned to my advantage going forward. And I really hope to continue putting my work and personal life into better order. I want to be living a life that I love, and now that I have my fundamental general happiness back, I would like to expand that into more tangible daily happy stuff!
