Spark People is awesome! I made my goal weight with BLC10. I love BLC (Biggest Loser Club) and highly recommend this team for anyone who is serious about their weight loss. Tracking what I eat and a consistent exercise program ensure success!

Personal Information:
My name is Beth, I am 64 years old, married with 5 adult children. I have 5 grandchildren. I live at Lake Gaston, NC - so bathing suits are expected here! I am very blessed with good health and I will do all I can to make sure that I use that blessing to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle.
Other Information:
In 2010 I took up running with a goal of running a half-marathon before 2011 and a marathon by 2011. I reached both those goals and have run many more half-marathons since that time. (No more marathons for me!) I would recommend running (or race walking) for anyone who is physically able. The cost is a good pair of shoes and a decent running watch. I have faithfully followed a training program, not overdoing it, and have managed to be injury free. It is an awesome way to help maintain a healthy lifestyle and realize how strong you really are.
