Introduction Text I think the tag line says it all. My name is Angel and I'm 31 years old. I have just had the most challenging year of my life and the struggles continue. However, today I chose to be in the solution rather than the problem. I have learned more about who I AM and what is most important to ME in MY LIFE. I have hope about what the future holds as long as I keep focused and continue to take action instead of being just a player on the sidelines watching life go by instead of living it. I have struggled with my weight all my life. I have been successful in losing upto 40+ pounds in the past but I inevitably gain it all back. I have realized through SP that weight loss and maintaining a healthy weight is a life style change not a "temporary phase" I go through. I am confident that I can reach my goals and am commited to being a healthier and happier ME for ME.

to be comfortable having my pic taken to be able to look at myself in the mirror and not see myself as fat to not be embarrased getting weighed at the doc's to not think everyone is looking at me and thinking to themselves "wow she's a bit chunky huh?" run a 10k run a half marathon wear a bathing suit and be comfortable lose 50 pounds become a community outreach spokesperson for teens/young adults who are at risk for or are abusing drugs and alcohol. to go on vacation at Ocean City, Maryland.

Listen to motivating-get up and go-music every morning. Read my daily devotional, say my prayers, have purposeful contact with God daily.

I've lived in the Buffalo area (subarbs) all my life. I am a Social Worker so the stress level can get high. With such a demanding occupation I really need to take care of myself. I have two kitty kats who I love with all my heart. I have no idea what I would do with out them. My niece is my inspiration. She is the sweetest, strongest, most lovable 17 yr old I've ever met!!!!!
