Day 1= January 4, 2014

So, I lost my way on this WHOLE fitness/eating healthy routine and I'm just mad at myself for allowing myself to get to this point. THIS is the heaviest I have been in about 7 years and NOT happy about it. So, I can blame it on the setbacks of health issues, relationship issues, etc. but NO...I ALLOWED myself to get here and guess what...I'm going to fight my way back down that scale. I'm better than this and I'm going to prove it to myself. I have done it before and I can do it again. I have to be the committed person that I know I can be and just stick to my plan and get it done.

My Goals:
Sticking to logging in my food...I noticed that helped a lot when I started in the beginning so I am back to it now!!!


Goal #1--Rocking 240 lbs. by Valentine's Day

Goal#2--Rocking 230 lbs. by St. Patrick's Day

Goal #3--Rocking 220 lbs. by Stagecoach

My Program:
Run Program-- 4x

Eating--Making Healthier Choices, Good Carbs, More Veggies and Fruits, Curbing the Sugary Stuff. Getting on a Low Glycemic Diet as this will help with the PCOS.

I love to travel and I'm always on the lookout for the next adventure. Currently my trip planning revolves around the book "1,000 places to see before you die," "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives," "Man Vs. Food," and Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations...I know all food related shows but I live it up when I travel because I pack my runnin shoes with me.

    Hi Ya, I was chubbier when I got my Masters degree than I was when I got my BA. I seriously overate towards the end of my MA,a nd looked puffy in my photos. You're wise to get serious about lookign better before you put on that cap and gown. I like the exercise log that you can access from the "My Home" link, and I love the food tracker since it keeps me accountable. There are some really interesting articles available in the Resource Center, and reading them has helped me undertand myself better. I have been setting small goals and have been meeting them one at a time since I would get discouraged if I looked too far ahead. This site will help you set your own goals, and you will get a lot of support here from other members. Good luck, and have fun exploring the site.
