Introduction Text I'm Dawn. I've lost 30 lbs in the last year, but am having trouble pushing through that final 20 lbs.

I started attending adventure bootcamp in August of 2009. I lost 35 lbs, gained back 5 and am lingering now at 30 lbs lost. I am trying to lose the final 20 lbs to achieve my weight loss goal.

I originally did Weight Watchers. I got frustrated trying to stay in my point total each day once I dropped into the 150's. The Points Plus program is probably a good match for me, I just need to get back on the wagon. I also am HFCS free, pro-grass fed beef, semi-organic, pro whole grains.

I am a 38 year old, happily married mom to my 6 year old son. I work as an engineer for a global applications company. I love my work, it's challenging and interesting. I'm generally a happy person. I don't have the energy or inclination to deal with people who only seem to want to be miserable and unhappy. My philosophy is been to live every day like it's my last and to love everyone I encounter. I love shopping, especially finding a bargain on something I wouldn't otherwise treat myself :) I guess I'm somewhat trendy and I love trendy coffee drinks and martinis - they are best when I can share them with my girlfriends. I have a lot of personality. Most people I meet find me funny; though, I am pretty sure some also find me annoying ;) That's OK too. One of the best things about getting old is that you realize that it really doesn't matter if EVERYONE doesn't like you - sharing your life with true friends is enough.
