Mid-life Makeover
I DID IT! I DID IT! I DID IT!!!
I can't believe it -- I'm back down to 145 lbs! I know there's a chance those last 3 lbs. might just be "water weight" (barn duty in 95-degree heat) but guess what: I'm NOT gonna allow them to creep back on.
Now it's the last push to my FINAL goal, my "graduate school-era" weight of 135 lbs. I won't be able to achieve that by Labor Day, but I can probably be around 141 or so.

I'm a skeptic about most things. I am also a hopeless romantic who believes in the essential goodness of humans. Try reconciling those two extremes!
