Tomorrow I am starting a 6 week challenge and I know there's no better place to get my motivation back than Spark! This is where I got so close to reaching my goal before. I'm heavier than I've ever been, weighing in at 260 pounds. I never thought I'd see a bigger number than 257! I've got a lot of work to do...both physically and mentally...and I am so ready to make this a permanent change!

*A lot of this page is from when I had started spark way back in 2010. I will be slowly redoing it all to bring it all current, but I think I might blog all of my old progress just to have a record of how I have done in the past before redoing it all.

7/09: 257 (Not on Spark)
4/10: 220 (Started Spark)
4/18: 213 (-7 or -44 Total)

5/02: 208 (-12 or -49 Total)
5/09: 205.5 (-14.5 or 51.5 Total)
5/16: 201 (-19 or 56 Total)
5/23: 197 (-23 or 60 Total)

*note: I am on a High Protein, Low Cal (HPLC) diet

1 - exercise, exercise, exercise...trying to get to at least 400 minutes per week

2 - lots of least 1 gallon a day

3 - logging all of my food and exercise daily

4 - blogging daily

***PLEASE NOTE: writing blogs on Spark daily has been an awesome way to get support and encouragement. I highly recommend blogging, and also reading other members' blogs!

I am 41 years old

I live in Rocklin, CA, just 20 miles East of Sacramento

I've been married to my wonderful husband, James, for almost 24 years now!

My life revolves around my two beautiful teens...a 13 year old daughter, Lyndsi, and a 15 year old son, Matthew

We have a full house with my parents living with us now! We also have our 2 Springer Spaniels, Roxy and Oreo, a Tuxedo cat, Mister, and 2 demanding cockatiels, Chewey and Sunshine

I was a Realtor for approx. 10 yrs until I had my son, and then I have stayed home to raise my kids ever since

    Hi, thanks for dropping by my page...I'd love to be buddies, but you'll have to be patient with me while I learn how to navigate this site. I'm really excited about finding SP. Today was my first day at the gym, I joined Curves and had a one hour work out today. I feel great far that is. I'm hoping I don't wake up all sore tomorrow. I'm not really following my food plan that they gave me on SP. I'm just trying to do it on my own and eat healthier...I'm learning about new ways of cooking and trying out a lot of non fat stuff :) We shall see...I've been averaging about 1400 calories a day since last this past Friday...that was the day my journey began. Well enough about me...tell me about you! emoticon

    I will buddy up with you....I REALLY need to refocus...I am REALLY not in my game! I have gained back 6-7 pounds! I NEED to do this for me!! I have done it before AND I can refocus and do it again...let me know if you want to buddy up with me!!
