It's a little disheartening realizing how many times I have tried and for how long I have been trying. Its even more saddening to acknowledge that regardless of my desire to lose weight I am now close to the highest weight I have ever been (410lbs). I have just recently as in the past 2 weeks lost 10 pounds. Which means that I, after making all these promises to myself, gained another 50lbs. I could beat myself up about it, but I'm not. Being this heavy is punishment enough.
Instead, I forgive myself fully for all the promises that I have broken to myself. And I pledge to love myself for the rest of my life. This is my life, its imperfect and I make mistakes. I have to now pick up the pieces and aim and hope for the best.
Failure is not an option.

Everything from here down was written on 1/4/13 And I won't erase any of it because I still mean every word and intended promise to myself.

I don't know how many times I have been here before but I am ok. I hope this is my last attempt at weight loss and my final success.


All choices No Excuses

I just turned 34 years old and I am the heaviest I have been in my life. I never imagined that I would ever get to 300lbs much less 361. I am still wondering how and when this happened. Was I sleeping because I was genuinely shocked at the scale. Well It's time to wake up and pay attention. I am currently on my journey to loose 236lbs. I am strong. I am determined and I am motivated. I am ready to be 125lbs and I accept it right now.

I wrote this a while back on paper and I figured I would put it on my spark page to inspire myself since I plan on spending a lot of time on my spark page. I am here till goal and beyond.


Am I satisfied with my weight? No, I am not

What Can I do about it that will fit into my day to day life?

I will develop a plan of action that I can live with. One that will cause my weight to decrease continuously at a steady pace but not too fast. I will keep abreast of why I am doing this. I cannot fail as long as I keep trying until I reach goal!.

I live in accordance with the knowledge that I am worth my own time.
I live life on my own terms.
I have morals and values.
I set high standards for myself and I do not waver for anyone.
I am disciplined and I have set guidelines.
I take care of my body because I love myself.
I live knowing that my aspirations are already mine.
I am surrounded by love, I am wealthy and I am healthy.
I am motivated to be Kind because kindness makes me smile inside.
I am dedicated to taking care of my body, mind, and spirit.
I am motivated to take care of others and the earth because I believe in altruism.

what is it that I love without fear or Consequences?
life, laughter, my children, myself, nature, travel, being loved and being in love... and so much more

I love when I am healthy and thin.
I love when I am at a healthy weight.

What motivates me to take care of my body, mind, and spirit?

I am longing to be thin and healthy.
I am longing to run without becoming winded.
I am longing for a body that I admire as I admire the rest of me.
I want to dance freely and stop only when I want to and not because I am out of breath.
I love yoga and meditation and I want to practice them everyday.
I want to be pleased with my entire being, my body included.

I am paying attention to my food choices. I have a daily caloric goal. current caloric goal of 1200 to 1500 per day. I eat as much natural food as possible and I am doing by best to stay away from everything processed. I drink lots of water and get at least 90 minutes of exercise in each week.

    It’s cold outside, but Spring is coming! Are you ready to join a Challenge? The Biggest Loser Challenge is looking for members for it’s next Challenge starting the first week of March.
