SparkPeople helped me loose 19 pounds in 2013, but I was overconfident and have gained quite a bit of it back. I need to learn to change my lifestyle, a bit at a time, and maintain it for the long haul. It is a journey!
In the past few weeks I've managed to rid my home of holiday treats, and am cooking more healthy meals again. Fortunately, we've had a fairly mild winter so far, which helps me to get outdoors and enjoy moving my body more.

Fitness Minutes: 20,195

My Goals:
In 2015 I want to lose 11 pounds by April 1st, experiment with new teas and vegetarian recipes, and eliminate $4000 of total debt (credit cards and student loans) by the end of the year.

My Program:
1) Find time for fitness 5 days a week
2) Increase the feeling of calmness and peace in my day-to-day by trying meditation once a week (or more!) and a different tea every month.

Mar- Yogi Peach Detox
Apr- Teavana Youthberry Wild Orange Blossom
3) Keep a running total of debt and reduce by $4k by 12/31/15

Personal Information:
I live in a small community in SE MN, but like to travel when I can. I'm lucky to live so close to the Mississippi River; I find water so soothing! I also haven't met a craft I didn't like, but I'm most fond of rubber stamping.

Other Information:
I went back to school and finally got my accounting degree in 2010 at the age of 48. I have 3 wonderful children, 2 adorable granddaughters, and am married to the man of my dreams. I'm a lucky girl, destined to be a Cloverleaf!

    Learning to have the attitude I have now is a challenge everyday, but I remember from the beginning of my relationship with my husband, he always said, "you deserve to be happy". He's right. The only way to do that is to stop thinking that everything is out to get me or that bad things always happen to bad people. I'm not a bad person. I just had a bad outlook on my life!
