...what it was like to gallop a horse?
...what it was like to ride a wicked roller coaster?
...what it was like to *want* to go clothes shopping?
...what it was like to not be sick/hurting all the time?
...what it was like to actually have fun?

I do. Those are the things I desperatly long for in my life again, and I hope that with this place and support, that I will be able to have them again before I forget what it was all like.

I updated and changed my ticker on Jan 29th to reflect the highest weight that I was some 4 years ago. 2 years ago it was 355, but the highest was 370, I started over this year at 330. So why did I change it for? To remind myself of how far I have truly come, so that I don't see this as another "Oh, I failed...guess I start over at this weight..." but rather as a slow but steady continuation of this weight-loss journey. It may have taken a few starts and stops over the last several years, but I've gone from 370+ to 317 as of this morning. And I need to remind myself of where I was and where I am now.

My Goals:
My main goal is to get back to a point where I can enjoy life.

I know many people say: "Don't wait to live." But there is not much that you can do at nearly 400 (my heighest) pounds. I can't do what I love. Any of it. I just want to be happy and healthy.

My Program:
Eating well and as clean as I can. Strength training 3 days a week, and cardio for at least 25 minutes 6 days a week. I'm sure the exercise will have to be bumped up in time, but for now this is where I'm at.

I lost 50 pounds last year, but gained most of it back, time to start anew.

Rewards for weight loss:

260 - Night out W/ friends
240 - 2 shirts from We love fine
210 - Spa Day
180 - Sky Diving
160 - A horseback riding holiday in Ireland and my own horse.

Personal Information:
I love to write and draw and have written 2 novels. I live with my husband in Sydney Australia.

Other Information:
Moved to Australia May 1st.

My highest weight that I can remember was about 370 pounds.

    I played City of Heroes for about year and half. It's a great game - so much fun t0 run super fast, or jump super high! I have not played in a quite a while - got hooked on World of Warcraft. Now I am looking forward to Starcraft2 coming out tomorrow!

    People always tell me I'm too aggressive, and that it takes a while to warm up to me. I really didn't mean to push you, honey It's just that I can only evaluate what you go through based on my own experiences. All I know (and I really do know!) is that there's nothing worse than feeling helpless towards one of life's great joys and necessities - food! I simply wouldn't wish that on anyone, and if I did more bad than good, then I'm truly sorry.

    As for your blog post, sorry if I misinterpreted what you were saying. If I were you, I too would try to avoid an outing that was centered solely around food (although I kinda wish we had TCF in Greece emoticon )

    Thanks for your comment on my blog. I’ve done Bob’s yoga before but never his 20 minute cardio…and now knowing its 90% lunges and squats, I will stay away! I hate lunges! I’ve definitely seen lots of articles about TBL and how dangerous it is and how a lot of the contestants have gained back a lot of their weight. When past contestants come back to run the marathon with current contestants, you can see that a lot them have put some pounds back on. I’m surprised about Tara though because she writes a TBL recap blog on and has her own website, so I just figured she had maintained. The show is very unrealistic with how much they lose over such a short time and I hope everyone who watches realizes the results aren’t typical and no one should strive to lose like they do!
