[EDIT] I restarted keeping track back in January. It is now May. I am down 29 lbs WITHOUT DOING EXERCISE!! If I start that, it will fall off by the gallon, I would suppose!

ah crud...I reset my weight goal and it lowered my calorie window significantly...guess that's just how it goes.

[EDIT] I am retired!!! as of 3/28/2014, I no longer have work as an excuse for not exercising...[7/1] so far, that doesn't seem to have helped...LoL

Hi...I am 6ballman. It is not a billiards reference. Nor a medical condition. I have had the weight problems my whole life. I have a photo my mom gave me of me when I was 5 and I looked like the Pillsbury dough boy. Yuk. The only times I remember being in condition were a coupla summers working on the farm as an adolescent, and after a heart attack in August, 1998, when I did all the right things for about a half a year and got into really really good condition. Unfortunately I have a weak will, and I work shifts (12 hour rotation). That work schedule makes it impossible to exercise on a work day...welll...close to impossible. When I get out of bed early enough on an overnight day I can squeeze in a workout. There is no way I am getting up early enough to exercise before getting to work at 6 AM, and pretty much no chance after a 12 hour work day. But, I am started. I got going on January 17th, 2012 and am down nicely early. I just need to continue the good work.

My Goals:
OK...resetting the ticker 12/27/12...50lbs to go as of now...1 year to do it.

My Program:

Schedule change means I am home @ 2.30 every afternoon, every other week. That leaves plenty of time for a workout. On the alternate week I am working 2.30-1AM. Usually I can at least peddle before work. When I am on nights, I try to get in my "walk around work" walk (1.67 miles).
cataloging every morsel that enters my mouth, cutting back on MT calories (alcohol primarily, but I have also cut back on cheese and ice cream - haven't cut out any of these, just cut back)

Personal Information:
I am always up for some bowling. Bring your stuff and we can go out and roll a few.

Other Information:

    Mr. Ballman I see how there can be frustration at the beginning of any adventure but we are all friends here and we all have a listening ear. I also am just starting this program at 58, so it is very hard. Keep up the good work this is just the beginning

    I love your Last Supper picture on your Page! Where did you find it?

    Several Rochesters. Is it Rochester NY? From 1984 to 2000 I lived in Newfield, just south of Ithaca. I love Rochester, and loved to come and spend an afternoon there.
