Introduction Text Hello! I enjoy puzzles, and I'm working on the challenging puzzle of weight loss. I appreciate this website and all those who contribute. Thank you for the inspiration, encouragement, and friendship! I first joined SparkPeople in 2008. After drifting away and rejoining a few times through the years, I'm realizing this is a process of trial and error, and learning from the experience and trying again.

1) Make health a priority, and figure out what works for me, particularly regarding my hemoglobin A1C. It is currently 6.1, and I'm trying to get closer to 5.6. 2) Have more energy to get things done throughout the day. 3) Be kind to myself. 4) Make friends with others who understand the struggle, so we can support each other.

A combination of a ketogenic diet and intermittent fasting. I no longer count calories, but keep carbs to under 20 grams per day. I do intermittent fasting a few days a week. I've been exercising by dancing to YouTube Videos. I also enjoy walks when the weather cooperates.



I'm a fan of old movies and TV shows. I also like British TV shows and science fiction. My favorite is Doctor Who. :) I love music from the 1960s. Lately I've been watching a lot of YouTube videos about nutrition and health, and learning a lot!
