I lost 40 pounds and very slowly gained it back. I am recommitted to this pursuit of healthy lifestyle and body with commonsense and gentleness to myself.
I will continue on this journey and try to learn from my setbacks and reduce the triggers in my environment. Other close family members being ill being one of them.
I know the benefits of healthy weight and lifesytyle and I will remember them as I go forward.
I will make time for healthy food and exercise healthy.
Jan1/2010 I am hoping to find a way to lose the weight in a healthy maintainable way. I have gained a lot of weight in the last 14 years-after having children and am looking forward to losing it.
I have have learned that weight loss and maintaining a healthy weight will never be an unconsciouss act for me.
I'm so happy and grateful for sparkpeople and I'm here to get the weight off and keep it off and to become more of who I am and have fun and to face the "bad stuff" as it comes up.

My Goals:
Reach a healthy body weight .
Wear a smaller size.
Feel lighter.
Have a healthy BMI. Short term goal -to go from size XXL to XL .-met.
Go down one pants size.
Lose another 10% of weight.
Go down one category of BMI

My Program:
Presently, I have committed to 60 minutes of cardio 5 times a week. I'm also going to a weight training class three times a week. I plan on tracking my nutrition and fitness..

Personal Information:
I am married and have four children and a lovely pet dog_shadow.

    A report says Obesity and Diabetes are the conditions making Covid 19 deaths prominent. Also, people who have Type A blood, who are bald and over 65. Low Vitamin D is another factor. I listen to Dr. John Campbell from England on Youtube, as he has been giving information on Covid-19 since January. He sited the article on how research is showing the MMR vaccine is protecting children from Covid-19 and it may help us older ones, and having a MMR shot now doesn't hurt, if we had one as a kid. I know I didn't back in 1957.
