Personally, I don't think you can homeschool without a sense of humor! So I appreciate a good laugh wherever I can get one. My brain has been on break since June, too, but I did just have a conversation with my hubby the other day that it's getting that time of year to start purchasing all the school supplies and getting the next year mapped out...
I think I need to get a vacation in first! We have become business owners and we are in our second year. We are still trying to establish a rythm for days off, vacations, how to pay ourselves...all that good stuff. I am so thankful for the freedom to homeschool. We do our school on the hours and days that work for us. It doesn't matter what the rest of the world is doing and we just love it!
Have a great day and find a laugh somewhere. Lisa 4933 days ago

Howdy! It is so good to meet people that appreciate a good sense of humor! Don't you love homeschooling? We're on our break now, but I guess I should probably start planning for fall, I'm not ready yet...almost...but not quite! We just got back from vacation to Yellowstone and Cody, Wyoming where we "did school"! I tried to do it without the kids knowing, but I think that they were starting to catch on when I started quizzing them on correct spelling of the different geyser's! (They could've spelled them any way that they wanted, I wouldn't have known the difference...my brain stopped working in June!) 4933 days ago

Thank you Lisa, for adding me as your friend. In answer to your question about my music, I sang soprano, alto, and sometimes tenor. I had about a 4-5 octave range, was a soloist, sang duets, trios, and several ensembles and choirs. I do play the piano a little, but have short stubby fingers, so never made a concert pianist. I love to sing songs from the heart and that speak to my heart also. God bless you. Kathy 4935 days ago
