About Me: My name is Christina and I am 33 years old. I have been married since June 2007. I am the mother of two children Nathaniel (8) and Roslynn (5). I have struggled with my weight since I was around 16 years old. I am currently looking to get to 180 possibly 160 lbs. I have decided to put me before a lot of other nonsense in my life so that I may finally get this weight under control. I am Done: Making excuses Giving up--I am in this for the long haul. So happy with my results thus far. Being a couch potato--I have started playing basketball with my kids, raking leaves, etc... Stuff I would not have done prior to August 2015. Drinking more soda than water in a day--Stopped drinking soda completely Not exercising Doing unconscious snacking--Plan every snack based off my calorie allowance Eating sweets--I still eat sweets but I may eat two Oreo's if my calories allow versus 6 or more Emotionally eating--I have discovered that when I feel emotional that I need to exercise. I exercise and feel so much better most of the time. Eating fried foods--I still have fried foods every here and there, but I don't fry any foods in my home. I will: Meal Prep Exercise five times a week Drink a lot of water Stay committed to do this for me Goals: My first goal is to reach 225 lbs. (Reached 12/01/2015) My second goal is to reach 210 lbs. (Reached 01/31/2016) My third goal is to reach 199 lbs. (Reached 03/22/2016) I am really focused on getting this weight off it has to be done starting with today! Six Month Review: Sparkpeople works!! You get what you put into it. This is a lifestyle change if you read, follow the meal plans, calorie intakes, fluid intakes, etc. you will accomplish your goals. I lost 51 pounds in six months my third time around. It was because I was tired and wanted it!! If you really want it and use Sparkpeople it will work. Don't be skeptical. Most importantly Sparkpeople is FREE!! So, even if you are skeptical give it a try and see for yourself. WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO LOSE??? My favorite thing about Sparkpeople is the motivation. So many people are on the same journey as you. I had no one in my life that understood, but there are soooo many people they understand and are going through the same thing you are. JUST GIVE IT A TRY 30 Days and see how you do!!
