What is the way to deal with sciatica pain. I just recently suffered from it (possibly from a fall in the bathroom a couple weeks ago) and it doesn't seem to be going away. I was given muscle relaxers and pain meds (Vicodin) but I don't like using those. I found that ice helps to ease the pain and have been told to 'walk it off,' but how can a person do that when simply standing is excruciating?? I tried sleeping in a different position....and have gone two days without the pain, BUT....woke up this morning with the pain. I had to pee in a portable urinal because I could not walk the dozen steps to the bathroom. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Report
I have learned how to start working out without putting myself out of commission. This was helpful! Report
Shoveling snow, not something you can just stop for the day when having to get out to work is involved. Lift with the legs; doesn't matter what people say about that-you use your back shoveling heavy wet snow weather you are trying to or not. Cool bath rinse off in warm, Good stretch and some cream Report
