I am in - my first challenge! I posted it in my blog but it is essentially:
+ exercise 30mins 3x a week (my biggest challenge)

Totally In!!
The best part is I won't have to bother with Xmas dinner, cause I am skipping it due to too much turkey this pevious week.

My goal is to stay within my calorie limits, to exercise, each day, drop some weight, and to drop a couple jean sizes.

This is my first "challenge" about 3 weeks into my own new routine. I went over my calorie goal for 3 straight days during thanksgiving, and I DEFINITELY can't do that again until Christmas! Starting Dec. 1 of course ;) Okay I really mean it. Hard core exercise this month until Dec. 25 which means at least 1000 cals burned each week and eating as close to my lower range of cals per day as possible. That doesn't sound so hard, but it will be a "Challenge" for me, ITS SO COLD!! BRRRR. Good luck everyone! emoticon

I'm in.

This will be tough with my insane schedule of 40 hour work week, 36 hour school schedule, and United States Army Reserve Battle Training Assemblies every other weekend. But I can do this!

My cardio goal currently is to do it 4 times a week (3 treadmill sessions and 1 zumba class). I will add to that because I have been doing really well with it. I will add that I will do other cardio events other than treadmill running. I just signed up for kick boxing at my martial arts academy, and i already attend their zumba class once a week. I will replace 2 of the treadmill runs with zumba classes when finals are over and my schedule opens up. For strength building I will strap weights to my wrists and ankles on one of the zumba classes.

Nutrition = my enemy
Nutrition is where i lack discipline. im addicted to sweets. so i will commit to reducing my sweets intake to 1 a day.

I'm in!
I want to work on sticking to my workouts. I will be doing around 4 a week and then when finals are done i'll try for 5 or do something active everyday.
For my nutrition goal I want to focus on drinking more water and eating a more balanced diet.
losing another 5 pounds this month would be amazing!

yup I'm in too, I wanna loose between 8-10 lbs buy the new year. I'm going on a hot vacation in Febuary and I wanna look great. I plan on strength training 2x a week and cardio (run, cycle, swim) 3x a week. Also planning on staying between 1200-1700 calories a day.

I'm in!! I want to loose 3 kg this month (about 8 pounds). I'll focus on eating smaller portions, actually cooking instead of eating at the cafeteria. Since i also have finals coming up soon, eating at home is a good way do not slip up.
As for exercise, i'll do my best to spend at least 60min of cardio/weight training 2 times a week.

I'm in!

College exams made me not actively exercise for almost a month. Need better time management next semester!

1. 8 hours of sleep
2. 8 glasses of water
3. C25K + 3 days of exercise
4. 1200-1500Kcal every day

Oh and the end of exams resulted in temporary distaste fro chocolate and lattes/cappuccinos. Long Black shall reign! I'm back!

I did pretty good over Thanksgiving, but I want to do better. My goal is to be under 170lbs before the New Year, stay within my calorie/fat goal and work out for 30mins, 5 days a week.

Im in! I lost 15 lbs so far. I reached the 150 mark now I want to get to the 145 mark by christmas!!!So 145 is my goal!!! I would like to walk at least 30 mins 4 days a week and do crunches for 15 mins 3 times a week...I only drink water..but I want to be sure not to go over 10 cups, and try to get those 5 fruits and veggies in each day. I also want to limit my cheat days!!!!!!!

I'm in! I have let myself go ever since I had to put my summer clothes away! I was at 176 this morning, so I will just start there. I want to work out 30 minutes a day, 5 days a week. I definitely want to stay on top of my calorie/fat/protien/carb intake! And keep on drinking my water!

I so need this! My goals are to do any moderate cardio 3 times per week for 30-45 minutes, stay between 1300-1500 cals/day, and track my food everyday. I haven't been active on spark in a while and I really need to get back into the swing of things. I'm going to allow myself one meal a week as a splurge meal...it is the holidays! I'd like to lose 5 lbs by the end of December.

I'm in! I hope to keep working out regularly throughout this stressful month since it'll be the end of my semester and i'll have a lot of papers due and finals to study for. I usually work out at my school gym, so i'm gonna have to find other ways to keep working out hard when i'm out of school for the holidays.

I'm in too! My goals are to not eat sweets 5 days a week, do cardio twice a week, and not gain any weight this holiday season!

So far, I have a 10 day no-sweet streak going as of today! It's my longest streak ever, so I'm pretty proud of myself.

I'm in as well :) My goal is to track calories, keep it under 1500 per day and to make it to the gym while my boyfriend is visiting this month.

*I am doing Power 90, started yesterday, 11/28

Nutrition goal: Stay in SP range, 1200-1550 calories
*My 30th Birthday (12/27) and New Year's Eve are free days

This year has been beyond rough and I am attempting to get back to a routine. If that happens. I'll consider December a success.

I'm in too. Starting weight is 118.5 which means I still managed to lose half a pound over the Thanksgiving week, but it could've been waaay more if I'd not been sick and lost time working out. Then there was all that food...Anyway, I want to at least get down to 115 by Dec 31st. I am going to start the sweatsuit to swimsuit challenge today. Also going to try and stay in my calorie range. Wish me luck!

I'm in, too!

I was NOT happy with how Thanksgiving went. I ate out practically everday during my break from school and didn't make healthy choices half the time. While I managed to eat the right kinds of portions on Thanksgiving Day at my mom's house, I completely over-indulged with desserts. Part of it was because my 7-year-old cousin Jake made desserts just for me... and I didn't want to hurt his feelings! But that's just not a good enough excuse for me...

My goal is to stick with the plan SparkPeople has laid out for me. Burn 2700 calories/week and stay within my calorie range (no higher than 1710 calories/day). I'd like to lose between 6-8 pounds by the end of December!

I think I'll join in, challenging myself to track my food 6/7 days every week and work out 3 days a week minimum. I've really fallen off of signing onto SP and tracking everything, which has been really bad news for my waistline.

It's good to have additional incentive to jump back in!

I am in. I am going to exercise 4-5X a week for no less than 35 minutes. I am going to track my calorie intake daily and not go over my calorie intake. I hope to lose 2 lbs a week this month.

I am in the for the challenge! I am still new to SparkPeople, and I think this challenge will be fun and something real to hold myself accountable.

Quickly, here are my goals:
Nutrition: eat more protein, dessert only once a week, less than 2000 calories per day, track every day
Exercise every week: 100 minutes cardio, 120 minutes strength, 120 minutes yoga
Weight: lose 10 lbs by December 31

I'm trying to stick with Jillian videos at home, treadmill at the gym, walking home from work, and staying within nutrition goals.
