I started Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred dvd this week....on Level 1 right now and hope to work up to Level 2 and 3 soon...LOL!

I was slacking and didn't look at the challenges until now. BUT I did try something new last week. I had an old step aerobics workout and I got it back out to try to mix things up. It works my butt! woo, lol

This week I will also be eating asparagus. I have had it before, but since my hubby doesn't like it and I got some from a co-worker, I plan to try it different ways each night this week.

I'm pregnant with my first child, due April 13th and super excited! I'm trying extra hard right now to stay within my weight-gain limits.

I can do this!!

I did an OJ in the Airport to catch my connecting flight that was delayed as was the original one coming. I wished for a flight delay so I didn't have get stuck in chicago overnight!!

I hope this counts...

I tried one of those new 'healthier' Healthy Choice meals today for lunch. Considering what it was, it was decent! Not as filling as I'd like, but the taste wasn't bad. I have a couple of others to try later this week and next, but that was my 'risk'. Lunch is usually my main meal, so it HAS to be good and filling for me.

I also tried a new strength exercise on my own--dead lifts. Loved them...and still feeling them 15 hours later! LOL!

I like this challenge---new things are good!

I logged all my food for work lastnight as I packed my breakfast, lunch and snacks for work. I also ate everything I packed. That is a first for me as well.

I've tried the Full Bar. They are ok. They taste just like that cereal to me...but the name is alluding me. I listened to a local jeweler today talk about post cold-war Russia. He's been there many times since the 90's. That was very interesting.

I bought and have tried the Full Bar. The texture seemed like a moist, flavored rice cake. They are pretty good. I also tried a Nature's Grain high protein and fiber cinnamon swirl bagel. I saw two new movies: Nights in Rodanthe (by myself) and Twilight (with my two teenage sons). These were very enjoyable to watch.

Here's something new for me: I stayed home sick from work. Normally, I would have pushed myself even though I'm not feeling well, but I'm taking care of myself instead. Very empowering, making my health a priority for a change.

I joined the swimsuit boot camp....I did day one video. It's only 10 minutes, but WOOOH! It has lots of kicking and jumpng jacks....wow, I can't tell you the last time I did jumping jacks...I can't catch my breath...... emoticon

My husband is going to teach me how to shoot. We're going target shooting this weekend.

Don't get stuck in a rut - try something new! Make it a goal to try at least 3 new things each week this month. They could be simple - a new food or a new exercise. Or they could be something bigger than you haven't tried because you were too heavy/out of shape (i.e, sky diving! LOL or playing baseball/soccer/basketball with your children). You decide, but aim for 3 new things each week!
